Who We Are
The Gathering at Conestee was formed in 2025 when a need for a new church was seen in the community. We believe in connecting and building relationships. We want all to feel welcomed in the church and hear about the life changing power that Jesus can have in your life!​
The Gathering at Conestee is dedicated to connecting people to Christ so that we can impact the community one person at a time. We believe in being out in the community, helping those in need so that they can find hope in Jesus Christ. All that we do is to expand the Kingdom of God and further impact those that we do life with. We would love for you to join us and be a part of impacting our community so that more people hear about Jesus
Sam is originally from Simpsonville, SC and grew up serving in the local church, yet never saw himself being a minister. God had a different plan for Sam and his wife Macy, who felt the call to plant a church in 2024 and that turned into The Gathering at Conestee.
Their hearts are to reach people with the Good news of Jesus. Sam grew up in Simpsonville, SC where he was able to learn about the Lord through the local church and accept Christ in his life.
Sam and Macy love spending time outdoors whether that is on the lake or on a hiking trail.
Zach is originally from Williamston, South Carolina. He was raised in church, watching his dad serve students while helping start a church.

Zach married his wife, Sydney, in 2015, and they have a wonderful daughter, Brynnlee, and an amazing son, Barrett. Zach and Sydney were called to plant a church, and that turned into starting The Gathering at Conestee.
In his spare time, Zach enjoys mountain biking and spending time with his family outdoors.
